Lagniappe is a quarterly “party with a purpose” hosted by DJ RQ away at Tipitina’s. Each show features a charitable organization that serves the local community, a New Orleans based opener and closes with a singing and dancing, all nite party led by DJ RQ Away on the turntables.

Continuing the celebration of 10 years of coming together to help others, 10 years of amazing, curated artist features and 10 years of one of New Orleans’ most beloved events.

For this special edition of Lagniappe at Tipitina’s we will be donating a portion ticket sales to to a local charity/Organization helping those in need.

And this year we’ll feature surprise special guests for every show!

Lagniappe was created for New Orleans’ Black creatives and professionals and has been serving the community since 2015.

This edition of Lagniappe will be a celebration of 10 years of coming together to help others, 10 years of amazing, curated artist features and 10 years of one of New Orleans’ most beloved events.

For this special edition of Lagniappe at Tipitina’s we will be donating a portion ticket sales to to Greater New Orleans Foundation’s New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund in support of the families of those who lost their lives and those that were hurt on Bourbon early on January 1st, 2025.

And this quarter our featured guest artist are surprise special guests!
